The Brief

Widening a vital river crossing

The Catarman Bridge carries the Catarman–Laoang Road across the river at the heart of Northern Samar's provincial capital — a route used daily by commuters, farm-to-market traffic, and inter-municipal transport. DPWH Region VIII commissioned the widening to add capacity along this corridor. CTC Construction and Supplies delivered the works as part of a joint venture, from substructure through to final road tie-in.
